Designed by former tournament angler Robert Hale, the SideTrac Cobra from Hale Lure, LLC, allows you  to control the direction the lure tracks, depending on the placement of the hook.  An exclusive appendage called the “Action Maker” accounts for the lure’s unique tracking action.  When the “Action Make” is to the right of the shank of the hook, the lure tracks to the left, and the “Action Maker” is to the left of the shank of the hook, the lure tracks to the right.  When tracking to the left, hold the rod tip to the right, and when tracking to the right, hold the rod tip to the left.  This tracking action allows the lure to track underneath docks, over-hanging limbs, and other obstructions.  Consequently, the SideTrac Cobra will virtually fish around stumps and trees. Combining the Cobra’s unique tracking action with its unique looping tail action, makes for a tantalizing presentation.  Instead of a cast and a straight retrieve, this lure should be fished with a gently twitch and retrieve to achieve the desired track.  The Lure may also be fished on a Carolina Rig with the “Action Maker” facing down, and when fished in a “dead stick” mode it is awesome.
